The BET Experience (BETX) is a multi-day annual event hosted by Black Entertainment Television (BET) that celebrates Black culture, music, and entertainment through a combination of live music performances, cultural events, and immersive fan experiences. Held in Los Angeles, it serves as a prelude to the BET Awards, offering exclusive access to artists, industry professionals, and activities like celebrity basketball games and fan festivals.

ROLE –
As Senior Designer and acting Art Director, I owned the design of the BETX digital experience end-to-end in Figma. I led the visual direction and execution, building structured layouts and high-fidelity prototypes that translated brand into an interactive platform. I established repeatable design patterns and layout systems to ensure consistency across pages and scalability for implementation and cross-platform execution.

PROCESS –
Built prototypes and structured files in Figma to clearly communicate layout behavior, hierarchy, and interaction to the Ceros development team. This ensured accurate implementation and consistency across the live experience. I collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to align on execution and refine the experience.
